The Munters GTR rotor is a further development of the "traditional" rotor. With this rotor it is possible to dehumidify ambient air to very dry conditions (for instance from 12 to 2 g/kg) without use of a pre-cooler.
The advantages are simple: less investment cost, less energy cost and no condensate causing hygienic problems.
