ESAC™ PC evaporative cooler series is the smallest in our range. This unit is suitable for cooling areas up to 150 m2, which doesn’t have a set ventilation or climate control. The PC4T is a unique unit which combines cost effective cooling, both in and outdoors. Due to it’s compact and flexible design it is possible to use either integral tank for up to 8 hours running, or connect the unit to a water supply. The PC series creates a comfortable climate with low noise in areas where alternatives are very costly.
BENEFITS
Evaporative cooling is an adiabatic process at constant enthalpy. It utilises the exchange of energy between water and air; the energy needed to make the water evaporate is taken from the air, thus reducing the air temperature.
The energy in the air can be divided into two parts: Sensible heat, which is the one we perceive and is quantified by measuring the air temperature; Latent heat, the energy which is needed to allow the water in the air to evaporate. The PC evaporative coolers system increases the latent heat and decreases the sensible heat, with very little need for external energy.
